Go suck at something new!

Growth begins the moment you’re willing to be bad at something again. I bring high-energy, honest talks about failure, reinvention, entrepreneurship, discipline and what it takes to move before you feel ready.

About Matt

People have always
been the work.

I’m a speaker, storyteller, published journalist, writer, podcast host and strength coach. My career has always revolved around one thing: people.

As host of The Matt Cutrer Report, I built the platform around the belief that extraordinary stories can be found in ordinary people. My experiences in journalism, coaching and interviewing people from every walk of life, and repeatedly stepping into arenas where success was never guaranteed, led to the philosophy behind my signature keynote.

“You don’t have to be great to begin. But you do have to be willing to begin badly if you ever want to become great.”
